MANSFIELD — Jill Borowicz and Megan Olson want to help people feel comfortable in their own skin — literally.

After working together as nurse practitioners, the duo decided to team up and make a shared dream a reality by opening their own medical spa called LuxLife MedSpa. Medspas offer medical grade aesthetic procedures, such as facials, laser hair removal, dermal fillers, etc.

The business partners chose to set up shop in Olson’s home county. Olson, 31, is a Bellville native, and Borowicz, 33, is from the Bowling Green area.

LuxLife MedSpa is located at 46 Park Ave. W. in downtown Mansfield. The recently renovated space consists of three treatment rooms and a lounge area in the back.

“I feel like with Mansfield everything is up and coming and this is a nice addition to have in the community,” Olson said.

With Olson and Borowicz’s backgrounds in health care, Borowicz said they realized the importance of helping people be healthy.

“You don't really think of aesthetics and medspas as keeping people healthy, but if you feel good about yourself, your mental health is generally better,” Borowicz said.

“We’re here to help you feel good about yourself and be comfortable with the skin you’re in.”

LuxLife offers a wide variety of services for both men and women. Treatments include:

  • Laser hair removal
  • IV hydration
  • Microneedling with radio frequency
  • Hydrafacials
  • Botox and fillers

“We can help correct basically any skin condition,” Borowicz said, whether that’s fine lines and wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, enlarged pores, etc.

Not sure where to start? LuxLife offers complementary consultations.

“We make sure each treatment is right for you based on what you’re looking for,” Borowicz said.

Both Borowicz and Olson had visited medspas before wanting to start their own. They each went on to receive training and certification in aesthetics.

“Why I went back to grad school was to become a nurse practitioner to do this (open a medspa),” Olson said. “I've always thought about it and now it's happening and it still doesn't seem real.”

LuxLife is open seven days a week (click here for hours). Walk-ins are welcome, though appointments are encouraged and can be made online or by calling 419-566-3678. LuxLife can also come to you via its concierge services, which include botox, fillers and IV hydration.
