Lawrence William Ross, Sr., known lovingly as Bill or Larry, who entered into glory on March 10th, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 85. Born on January 22nd, 1941, in Vindex, MD, Bill was one of fifteen children born to Edward Jacob Ross & Fannie Gladys Puffenbarger of Barton, MD.

As a young man, Bill worked tirelessly in the coal mines and later in the brick yard, building a future with his own hands. He built a home outside of Upper Sandusky, OH, with his wife Rosalie Green and their 4 children; Lawrence, Jr. of Upper Sandusky, Anita (Mike) of Webster, FL, Clement of Richwood, OH, and Pamela of Webster, FL.

Bill was preceded in death by a wife (Sharon), his parents, many siblings, and a grandson.

He is survived by his wife Beverly, who was his loving caregiver to the end, three siblings; Edward, Jr. of Conshohocken, PA; Samuel of Spotsyvania, VA; and Linda of Keyser, WV. He also leaves behind grandchildren: Blake, Brice, Chandler, Lillian, Bri, Samantha, Lahryn, Dustyn, Chelsea, Mike, Taylor, Sydney, Kacie, Levi & Dillin; 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and stepchildren Brenda Arbutina, Deborah Morton, and Mary Arbutina.

Bill was a man of deep faith; he loved Jesus, the church, and serving others as a prayer warrior for many. He also owned and ran his own business for many years, Larry’s Antenna and Appliance Repair, in Upper Sandusky. He loved hunting and fishing with his son and grandsons in Canada, and his ornery sense of humor and big heart will be remembered by all.

A celebration of life will be held in Ohio, with details forthcoming, and his final resting place will be near his place of birth, in Elk Garden, WV.
