Margaret “Tuffy” Muddiman, age 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2026.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Tuffy will be remembered for her kindness, strength, humor and love for her family. She spent considerable time in her kitchen where she made every meal with love.
She is survived by her children, James Muddiman, Jr., Kelly Scott Muddiman and Bobbie Voss; grandchildren, Heather Muddiman, Jami Messer, Blake Muddiman, Dylon Muddiman, Morgan Murphy, Dalton Muddiman, Brooke Muddiman, Samantha Spears, and Amanda Voss; great-grandchildren, Caden Bowman, Cash Crane, Cooper Crane, Danica Crane, Ryann Messer, Dana Messer, Bo Murphy, Callie Murphy, Collins Murphy, Rhett Murphy, Gracelynn Muddiman, Brantley Muddiman, Forrest Muddiman, Fayth Spears, Hunter Spears, Calab Phelps, Laila Phelps, and Madelynn Voss; siblings, John Gibson, Mike
Gibson, and Linda Banks.
Tuffy was preceded in death by her husband, James Muddiman, Sr.; granddaughter, Brandi Voss; and great grandson, William Johnston.
Tuffy was the grounding star for her family, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She brought such joy to the world, always driving her car just a little too fast with the radio on and her windows down.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Wappner Funeral Directors and Crematory-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in Mansfeld Cemetery.
