GALION — A 60-year-old Galion man was arrested on child pornography charges Wednesday afternoon by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers with the sheriff’s department executed a search warrant at 4:53 p.m. at 1370 Fairview Ave. after an investigation into the possession of child pornography.
Michael Paul Taylor, the target of the investigation, was arrested during the execution of the search warrant.
Several electronic items were seized from the residence during the search, the sheriff’s office said.
Michael was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center on charges of pandering obscenity involving a minor.
Deputies said child pornography was found on the devices seized as evidence.
A report will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of additional charges, deputies said.
