Robert Wade Enyart, age 77, of Mansfield passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. He was born June 25, 1948, in Mansfield, OH, and was the son of Charles and Betty “Pat” (Hoeflich) Enyart.

He graduated from Lexington High School and later retired from Western Elementary School in Lexington, where he served as a janitor for the school and retired after 28 years. He enjoyed serving the young students. Robert was in the Navy and was proud to serve on the USS Fred T. Berry, DD858. He was a member of The American Legion.

A World War 2 enthusiast, he enjoyed the history of this era, and was a self-taught musician, playing both guitar and banjo.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Rob) Tommelleo; stepsons, Brian Gass and Matt Maxwell; siblings, Sharon Frazee, Jim Enyart, and Schelly (Jack) Young; grandchildren, Robbie Tommelleo and Genna Tommelleo; aunt, Bonnie Binion; and many cherished family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, George Enyart; stepson, Shane Maxwell, and brother-in-law, Dave Frazee.

The family will receive friends at a Celebration of Life on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00PM at The Life Celebration Center, 129 S. Main Street, Mansfield, OH 44902.
