MANSFIELD — The Mansfield Fire Department on Saturday night honored two firefighters for dedication, professionalism and service.
Firefighter Corey Volz was honored as the department’s 2025 “Firefighter of the Year.”
“Volz was named Firefighter of the Year for his consistent leadership, strong work ethic, and willingness to step up whenever the job demands it. His commitment to excellence and support of his fellow firefighters truly sets the standard at Mansfield Fire,” the department said.
Firefighter Michael “Mike” Garn was selected 2025 “EMT of the Year.”
“Garn was recognized as EMT of the Year for his exceptional patient care, professionalism, and compassion on every call. His dedication to those he serves and his positive attitude make him an outstanding representative of our department,” the department said.
