Connie Reindl, beloved mother, friend, and devoted animal lover, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 2, 2026, age of 71, at the Altercare Bucyrus. She was born in Galion on May 17, 1954, to the late Donald and Myrtella “Max” Maxine (Russell) Kent.
Connie will be remembered for her warm smile, infectious laughter, and her incredible sense of humor. She was employed by the Galion Country Club as a cook. She loved the soap operas, Days of Our Lives and Another World. She had a unique talent for connecting with others, and her biggest heart was evident through her unwavering willingness to help anyone in need.
In her leisure time, Connie found great pleasure in activities such as crossword puzzles, solitaire, and Texas Hold ‘Em. She also cherished the simple joys of life, notably camping and cookouts with friends and family, where she always cooked enough food for an army. Through it all, her beloved cat, Doodie, was her constant companion, providing comfort and companionship for over 14 years.
Connie is survived by her children; Wendy Yates, Phoenix, AZ, Sheri (Kyle) James, Galion, Kristi (Dustin) Hardy, Galion, her six grandchildren; Caleb (Katie) Wireman, Tyler Wireman, Kayla Hardy, Jimmy Hardy, Kylee James, Mason Hardy, three great-grandchildren; and her sister Linda (Frank) Bennett, Irwin, NC.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her two brothers, Cecil Kent and Terry Kent.
Connie’s family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at a later date.
