Rick L. Worner, 72, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, following a brief illness.
Married for 41 years, Rick was loved and will be deeply missed by his wife Lisa and son Jackson. During much of his life, Rick enjoyed running his business, Worner Roofing, and took pride in providing exceptional customer service. He equally enjoyed retirement – especially spending time with friends and family, walks in the neighborhood and an occasional trip to the casino.
Rick’s father, Rexford Worner, passed July 15, 2008.
He is survived by his mother, Victoria “Beverly” Worner; three sisters; three brothers; and a large extended family. Rick’s family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to those who provided comfort and support during his illness. His sister, Kim Arellano, offered her time and nursing skills to help the family navigate difficult health decisions. His brother, Jeff Worner, sister, Sherry Blanc, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bruce Lambillotte and Elly Grmek, provided unwavering emotional support.
The family also wishes to acknowledge the doctors and nurses of the Avita Hospital ICU who treated our loved one with skilled care and dignity.
With respect for Rick’s wishes, no funeral is planned at this time. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
