BUTLER: Sandra J. “Sandy” Pritchard passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on Friday, January 16, 2026. She was 72.

She was born on February 28, 1953 to parents Bertin Sr. and Ruth (Atwood) Ousley in Mansfield, Ohio. Growing up in the area she attended and graduated from Clearfork High School.

On March 24, 1973 Sandy married the love of her life, Dale W. Pritchard, and the couple shared 51 wonderful years of marriage together until his passing in 2024. Now they are reunited in Heaven once more.

She spent many years as a beloved bartender at the Tall Timber Inn, where she was known for her friendly smile, quick wit, and genuine care for everyone who walked through the door. Even after officially retiring, she couldn’t quite stay away and returned to tend bar at least one day a week, enjoying the connections and friendships she had built over the years. Her work was never just a job — it was an extension of the kindness and warmth she shared so freely with others.

Sandy enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, especially taking road trips to the casinos, playing a competitive game of Scrabble, working on jigsaw puzzles, and spending quiet time reading. Above all else, her family was her life. She absolutely adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to cheer them on at their sporting events. Sandy was a deeply caring and selfless person, always willing to give her last dime to help someone in need, and her kindness will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons Larry (Tanya) Pritchard and Jerry (Audra) Pritchard, Grandchildren Kylie (Brody) Alyia (Josh), Joe, Jacob, Brody, Aubrey, Ava, and Autumn “September”, great-grandchildren Summer, Tyler, Tate, Sawyer, and soon to be Silas, brother Bertin (Kathy) Ousley, sister Joyce Smith, brother-in-law Bob Stelzer, sisters-in-law Linda (Tom) Stull and Nancy (Bob) Ronevich, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Sandy is preceded in death by her parents Bertin Sr. and Ruth Ousley, sister Shirley Buckler, and sister-in-law Ruthaleen Stelzer.
