The start wasn’t the problem for Zanesville W. Muskingum, as it began with a 16-10 edge over New Philadelphia through the end of the first quarter.
The scoreboard blinked a 25-25 tie, as the two teams turned toward the third quarter.
New Philadelphia jumped in front of Zanesville W. Muskingum 40-33 going into the fourth quarter.
Both teams scored evenly in the final quarter to make it 55-48.
