MANSFIELD – Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (Richland SWCD) is pleased to announce the popular quarterly Conservation Creation Arts and Crafts Workshop series will continue in 2026.
The workshops are free for up to 25 participants per workshop due to the generosity of donors who contributed to the recent Richland County Foundation Richland Gives campaign to cover the cost of supplies.
The workshops are held the second Tuesday in January, April, July, and October at 6 p.m. at the Longview Center, 1495 W. Longview Avenue, Mansfield other than October. The October workshop location will be announced later.
The workshops pair an educational topic connected to the natural world with a craft or art project. Each evening is fun and educational.
The first workshop, Get Organized, is Jan. 13, 2026. Participants will re-purpose a tin can into a pretty container and Richland County Solid Waste Management Authority will provide a program about recycling.
All workshop materials and tools are provided. Register for the January workshop at https://richlandswcd.net/event/get-organized-conservation-creation-arts-crafts-workshop/.
