MANSFIELD — The Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development has announced that applications are now open for the Young Leaders Institute, a transformative leadership development program designed for high school sophomores across Richland County.
The Young Leaders Institute empowers students to grow as individuals, develop leadership skills, and engage with the community through a series of interactive sessions held throughout the school year.
Participants will explore Richland County by touring businesses, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, and tourism attractions. They will talk with the mayors in each city and village.
“This program is a unique opportunity for students to discover their potential and build a foundation for future success,” said Angie Cirone, Mansfield-Richland Area Educational Foundation Director.
“We’re excited to welcome a new class of motivated young leaders who are ready to make a difference.”

Eligibility
Open to high school sophomores in Richland County who demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to personal growth.
Tuition
This program is free for students. The Milliron Foundation and corporate sponsors fund the program.
