MANSFIELD — The property that houses Mansfield Buick GMC has been sold for $3.25 million, but the dealership isn’t going anywhere.
The buyer, 1400 Park Avenue West LLC, is affiliated with the dealership itself. According to general manager and partner Chuck Tieche, the transaction is internal and not a change in ownership.
“We are absolutely not closing,” the owner said. “In fact, we’re investing heavily in the entire property — repainting the building, repaving the lot, and significantly increasing our inventory and staffing. Our goal is to make this location feel like a brand-new dealership.”
The revitalization effort includes upgrades to the building’s interior and exterior, as well as reopening the body shop in the rear of the property. Tieche said the shop will be used for high-end restorations.
“We’re rebuilding from the ground up,” he said. “We’re taking the existing footprint and bringing it back to life, getting the lot looking the way it should and returning inventory to proper levels.”
