BELLVILLE – Lodi Metals, which came to Bellville two decades ago, is making some significant changes.

Effective Saturday, the company that began distributing cargo control products in Lodi, Ohio, in 1993, is uniting all of its brands under one name — Trucking Depot.

After moving to Bellville in 2006, it continued to grow and operate in a larger facility. It has focused on e-commerce and nationwide shipping, as more customers prefer to order online.

This allows them to serve buyers across the country and reach new industries.

It’s a distributor of cargo control products, shifting its focus from distribution to manufacturing a full line of equipment. This includes ratchet straps, load bars and e-track systems.

As they grew over the years, it has introduced separate brands to help customers find what they need.

These brands include Lodi Metals, Shippers Suppliers, Ratchet Straps USA and Moving Blankets USA. Today, they are bringing those brands together under one name.

Adam Bowman, vice president of Trucking Depot, stated this change is about growth, clarity and making it easier for people to know who to trust when they need to secure a load.

“We’re unifying our brand to Trucking Depot, to create a stronger, more recognizable identity. This move simplifies the customer experience by bringing all our cargo control and moving products under one roof,” Bowman said.

“The rebranding to Trucking Depot represents a strategic move to better align with the company’s mission and future vision. The new name and branding are designed to communicate the company’s dedication to becoming a leading destination for cargo securement and trucking needs,” Bowman said.

Trucking Depot said the same dedicated team will continue to provide support, ensuring a seamless transition with unchanged account logins and information on the new website.

Employing 25 workers at their Bellville location, it manufactures and supplies a wide range of cargo control and moving equipment. The facility is open Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Fridays until 2:30 p.m., for walk-ins and order pickups placed in advance.

While their name is new, their team, location and commitment remain the same.

“We are excited about this new chapter and confident that this rebranding will enable us to serve you even better. We look forward to officially launching Trucking Depot on Aug. 2, thank you for your continued loyalty and support,” Bowman said.
