GALION — Drugs with a street value of more than $100,000 were seized Thursday when a narcotics search warrant was executed at 1112 Beck Road northwest of Galion.

Authorities said the target of their investigation was Jon Michael Schreck, 46, from Tiro.

According to a press release, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and the METRICH Enforcement Unit were assisted by the Crestline Police Department and Galion City Fire Department in the 9 a.m. raid.

Officers seized an estimated 70 pounds of marijuana, along with pills, including Alprazolam, Amphetamine-Dextroamphetamine, Acetaminophen-Hydrocodone, and Clonazepam.

Also seized was a complex indoor grow system consisting of grow lamps, power inverters, irrigation system, chemicals and other items associated with illegal indoor grows, according to the sheriff’s office.

This case is still currently being investigated by the sheriff’s office detectives. Criminal charges are pending against Schreck and reports will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of charges, according to the release.
