Barbara Ann Gibson, age 66, of Mansfield, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025, at her home. She was born October 2, 1958, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Villa (Ernsberger) and Lawrence E. Thompson.
Barbara loved animals and had a kind heart. She was always willing to help anyone in need. Her home was immaculate and gardening, especially tending to her flowers, was a favorite activity. Barbara was blessed with wonderful family and amazing friends.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Harold Gibson; two children, Brennan and Gabriel Gibson; five grandchildren, Kincade, Jordan, Kainan, Isabella and Noah; a great-granddaughter, Kalena; two sisters-in-law, Tammy and Dianne; numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Karen; brother-in-law, Ricky Gibson; and parents-in-law, Clinton and Marie Gibson.
There will be no visitation or service observed.
