MANSFIELD — A Mansfield man was arrested and drugs and cash seized after a law-enforcement raid on Wednesday in Mansfield, according to a press release from METRICH.

Demetrius Rucker, 49, was incarcerated on multiple felony charges, including two first-degree felony counts of Trafficking in Cocaine, a first-degree felony count of Possession of Cocaine, and a fourth-degree felony count of Trafficking in Cocaine.

Further drug-related charges will be forwarded to the Richland County Prosecutor’s Office, the release stated.

The raid took place on Wednesday at 618 Burns Street in Mansfield. Authorities reported seizing approximately 590 grams of suspected cocaine, $26,752 in U.S. currency, suspected oxycodone and other drug-related evidence.

METRICH detectives with the assistance of the Richland County ASORT and Mansfield Police Department, executed a drug-related search warrant authorized by Mansfield Municipal Court Judge David Badnell.
