Timothy Dale Shireman passed away peacefully at home on April 14, 2025 in Perrysville, Ohio following a long illness surrounded by his loving daughter.
He was born on June 25, 1948 in Ashland, Ohio to parents Glenn and Marjorie (Hiner) Shireman. Tim graduated from Loudonville High School, Loudonville, Ohio with the class of 1966. After high school, he went to work at Mansfield Plumbing Products in Perrysville, Ohio. From 1968-1971, he proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Specialist (E-4) in the Signal Corps as part of the European Theater during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable discharge, he continued his employment at Mansfield Plumbing Products as a Laborer, retiring after 46 years.
In his spare time, Tim enjoyed gardening, canning vegetables, and winemaking. He was a member of the Loudonville American Legion Post #257, Loudonville F.O.E. #2275, and the Perrysville VFW Post #8586.
Tim is survived by his daughter Susan (Ken) Walters of West Branch, Michigan; grandsons Jared (Kirsten) Walters and his soon to be great-grandson of Munger, Michigan; Tyler Walters of West Branch, Michigan; brother Jim Shireman of Bucyrus, Ohio; nephews Spencer Shireman and Jeremy Shireman; niece Karri Venis; several stepbrothers and stepsisters; uncles Harry Shireman of Perrysville, Ohio and Henry Hiner of Virginia; several step-nieces and step-nephews; and his special friend, Donna Petty of Perrysville, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, stepmothers, Ida Shireman and Dolly Shireman, several step-siblings, grandparents, Beach and Edith Shireman, Dale and Frieda Hiner, and Mildred (Lewis) Hiner, Uncle Donald Shireman, Uncle Luther Hiner and Aunt Helen Brokaw.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 21, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Snyder Funeral Homes-Lindsey Chapel at 123 N. Market Street in Loudonville, Ohio. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 11:00 am with Pastor John Temple officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville, Ohio. Military honors will be performed by the Loudonville American Legion and the Perrysville VFW.
