Tracy Dean Harper, 72 of Ashland passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025 in Lifecare Hospice in Wooster.

He was born on March 2, 1953 in Beckley, West Virginia to the son of the late Tracy “Boots” and Goldie (nee Daniel) Harper.

Tracy graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1971.

He married the love of his life the former, Lesa Hunter on July 14, 2012.

Tracy retired from R.P.G. in April of 2023 where he worked as a maintenance electrician.

Throughout his life, he enjoyed both riding and fixing motorcycles, especially his Harley Davidson. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved being a collector of many things. At any given time, he always had multiple projects going on.

He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Mrs. Lesa Harper of Ashland; one son, Jacob Harper of Galion; one daughter, Kristen (Nate) Behrendsen of Ashland; his stepchildren, Jeramy Hunter of Massillon, Brittany Swiger of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Keith McConnell of Grafton; five grandchildren; one sister, Debra (Benjamin) Roloff of Eureka, MT; and one brother, Delbert (Darla) Harper of St. Petersburg, FL.

In addition to his parents, Tracy is preceded in death by one brother, Darrell Harper.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in the Nova Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
