Charlotte Alma McKown, age 90, of Ontario, passed away Saturday evening, February 22, 2025, at Ontario Estates.
She was born August 23, 1934, in Richlands, Virginia, to the late Richard and Gladys (Taylor) Joyce. Charlotte enjoyed visiting with her friends, playing cards, and completing word search puzzles. She also enjoyed traveling as often as she could.
Charlotte is survived by a daughter, Karen (Breedlove) Etzwiler; stepson, Steve (Margaret) McKown; three grandchildren, Meri (Mike) McCann, Erin Casey and Kristy (James) Harris; a step-grandson, Steve Etzwiler; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald McKown; son-in-law, Patrick Etzwiler; grandchild, Adele Mohler; and three siblings, Norma Darlene Joyce, William Curtis Joyce, and Doris Elaine Jackson.
Honoring Charlotte’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service observed. Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario is honored to serve the family.
