Elenora “Sue” Stahl, cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 16, 1948, Sue lived a life full of love, creativity, and adventure.
Sue was a talented artist who found joy in drawing and painting, a passion she eagerly shared with her grandchildren. Her home was a canvas of warmth and creativity, especially during Christmas, her favorite time of year, when she transformed her surroundings into a magical wonderland.
A testament to her strength and resilience, Sue was a miracle survivor of a double brain aneurysm, a challenge she faced with grace and courage. Her sweet, caring, and humorous nature made her a beloved presence in the lives of all who knew her.
She had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel loved and valued.
She is survived by her devoted children, Carla and James Bohley, Kandi Foncannon, Jamie and Bill Finley, Ron and Anita Weiss, and Jimmy Layland, her dear brother Denny, and her treasured friend Judy Brown.
As well as her grandchildren Cody and Amanda Totman, Chad and Cate Totman, Wesley and Kyla Weiss, Cordaro Foncannon, Terry and Samantha Foncannon, Steven and Taryn Byrd, Brittany and Sean Crider, Brent and Sarah Finley, Bobby and Shelby Finley, Brandy Finley, Josh and Taylor Layland, Mathew and Micki Myers
Her legacy continues through her numerous and great-grandchildren, who carry forward her spirit and love.
Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Noel Stahl, her parents, her son Tim Layland, her son-in-law Myron Foncannon, her daughter-in-law Roberta Layland, and her grandchildren Dillon Foncannon, Carl, and Jim Layland.
Sue shared a lifelong friendship of 63 years with Judy Brown, her best friend in countless adventures. Together, they created memories that spanned decades, a testament to the enduring power of friendship
Elenora “Sue” Stahl will be remembered for her boundless love, her artistic spirit, and the joy she brought to those around her.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
