In loving memory of our beloved William John “Johnny” Marvicsin. Johnny was 46 and a resident of Galion, Ohio. He entered his eternal home September 19, 2024 to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus and countless loved ones. Johnny was born in Monroeville, Ohio on October 11, 1977, where he lived for the first 3 months of his life. As a child he lived in various towns before settling in Galion where he attended school.

Hands on and hard working, John has a number of skills. He was a master tile setter, roofer, dog trainer and even dabbled in plumbing. He began tattooing in 2008 mastering his artistic skill and style for the last 16 years. John was multi talented musically and artistically, he was able to learn quickly. He had a sense of humor and wit. People were drawn to him, and he was a people connector. He made an impact on every life he met.

John enjoyed food, Italian was his favorite. He liked cooking, reading his bible, praying for others, fishing, quad riding, long walks, lifting weights, shoes, and family. He loved his momma more than anything in this life. He loved his dog Jobe. He loved hard and was loved back. Our dear Johnny will be greatly missed in this life.

He leaves behind his mother Ina Jean Marvicsin: sister Rhonda (Brian) Sellers; brother Jeff (Pam) Marvicsin, sister Lisa (Bill) Daugherty, sister Lori (Rick) Thran, sister Tara (Mike) Apking, brother Bryan Scott partner Rachel Kehl, sister Melissa Vickery/ her children and sister Rachel Marvicsin/her children; nieces Angel Backensto, Gwen Marvicsin, Jamie Chambers, nephews Eric Thran, Matthew Thran, and Alex Apking: numerous great nieces and nephews, countless friends, and family.

He was preceded in death by his father Darrell M. Marvicsin, nephews Jonathan D. Thran and Chandler J. Fisher, cousin and best friend Troy A. Reynolds, and countless friends and family members.

A Celebration of life will be held Friday, October 18, 2024, at 111 West Elm St., Butler, Ohio 44822 in the village building (former River of Life Church.) from 3-6pm. A short service and meal will follow.
