MANSFIELD — In this week’s edition of the News Man Weekly podcast, Richland Source City Editor Carl Hunnell is joined by Source reporters Katie Ellington Serrao, Grace McCormick and Mariah Thomas.

The discussion revolves around the massive reporting project “Tomorrow’s Talent” that the trio recently concluded.

It was a series of two dozen stories that explored north central Ohio’s workforce trends and how different organizations, including businesses and schools, are adapting to meet new challenges.

Hunnell even gets the three reporters to engage in a game of “On the Record” in which secrets are revealed!

Hunnell is also  joined by executive producer Zac Hiser and video producer Grant Ritchey as they riff on the news of the week — including a Springfield Township house explosion on Friday that killed one person and injured two others; the search by the Richland County Republican Party to replace outgoing At-large Councilwoman Stephanie Zader; a new partnership between the Oasis of Love Church and the City of Mansfield to rejuvenate Cyclops Field on the city’s north side; the ongoing demolition of former Westinghouse properties on the city’s east side that may be near an end after nearly two years of work; and the announcement that the City of Mansfield Trick-or-Treat will be conducted on Halloween Night this year.
