MANSFIELD — The North End Community Improvement Collaborative (NECIC) is excited to announce a special Neighborhood Action Meeting in honor of Disability Voting Rights Week (September 9th to 13th): “Empowering Every Vote: Disability Voting Rights Week.” Join us on Wednesday, September 11th, at 5:00 PM at the NECIC Community Outreach Center, 486 Springmill Street, Mansfield.
This important event will focus on enhancing voting rights and accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Our goal is to create an inclusive dialogue that ensures every voice is heard in the upcoming election.
Event Highlights:
- Resources for Disabled Voters: Discover essential information and support services specifically designed for voters with disabilities.
- Voting Machine Demonstrations: Gain hands-on experience with voting machines to better understand how they operate and how they can be utilized effectively.
- Preview NECIC’s Candidates Night: Get a sneak peek at our upcoming Candidates Night, where you’ll have the opportunity to learn about key issues facing voters this November and hear directly from the candidates running for office.
- Voter Registration and Absentee Ballot Assistance: Receive guidance on registering to vote and navigating absentee ballot processes.
This event is free and open to all. We invite community members to join us in sharing their experiences, exploring improvements to the voting process, and addressing the impact of the upcoming election. Connect with your neighbors and contribute to a more inclusive voting experience for everyone.
