Patricia Ann (Perry) (Floyd) Ellish

December 27, 1935 – August 26, 2024

A remarkable woman whose love and strength touched the lives of all who knew her, Patricia Ann (Perry) (Floyd) Ellish passed away surrounded by her family. Born to Coy Luther Perry Sr. and Edna Irene Wallace Perry, Patricia was raised in Portsmouth, Ohio, where she grew up in a family rooted in the values of hard work, love, and resilience. Later in life, she built a home in Mansfield, Ohio, where she continued to create lasting memories with her loved ones.

Patricia was the proud mother of Debra Julian, Scott (Tari) Floyd, and George Ellish Jr., and the adored grandmother of Lindsay (James) Blevins, Ryan (Eve) Julian, Chris (Marla) Julian, Kama (Daniel) Stauffer, Erik Floyd, and Sofia Ellish. She was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren: Zoe, Eli, Bryson, Colton, Axton, Payton, Molly, and Joe. All of which brought her immense joy. Despite her dislike for it, Patricia was affectionately called “Ninnie” by all her grandkids, a nickname that became a cherished part of her legacy.

She treasured her friends, Brenda (Henry) Medina, and Sue Taylor, who were as close to her as family. Her sister in law Judy Perry, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Patricia welcomed everyone into her home, where warmth and love were always in abundance. She loved to spend time with her family. Ninnie was a woman who always spoke her opinions, and her strength and comfort will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Patricia was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Floyd, and later by her second husband, George Ellish Sr.; her son-in-law, Thomas Julian; her brothers, George Perry, Coy Perry Jr., Ralph Perry; her sister, Sharon Perry; and her nephews, Luke Perry and Jeff Tackett.

She will be remembered for her enduring strength, her loving heart, and the countless ways she made the world a better place simply by being in it. Patricia’s legacy lives on through her family, who will continue to honor her memory by living with the same grace, love, and kindness that she exemplified every day.
