Heaven gained another angel as Kathleen S. Bullock (Kunza), 77, of Mansfield, Ohio fell into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, after a short battle with liver cancer.

Kathy was born January 10, 1947, in Villa Grove, IL to Raymond and Dolores Kunza. She had 5 siblings and cherished each one of them dearly, Sandra, Elizabeth, Karen, Janice, and Raymond. Kathleen married Edward Hynes at a young age and later married Ronald Bullock. They moved to Ohio in 1976. She had 3 children, Michelle, Bradley, and Lindsey (Aaron). Kathleen loved her children very much, as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren: Cara, Fredrika, Ciera, Francesca, Michael, Michael, Iyla, and Emerie (Columbus), Brynlee, Brooklyn, and Blakely (Bellville). She prided herself on keeping busy with her grands and bragging about them every chance she had with pictures and stories at hand.

She leaves behind her special partner, Maximo Garcia (Willard); lifelong friends, Frances, Sue, Patti, Char, Cynthia, Jackie, Nancy, Ernestine, and Sharon (just to name a few); and special former co-workers.

Kathleen never met a stranger and was very kind, caring, loving, and accepting to those she met and knew. She cherished the relationships she built with people and enjoyed staying connected. Kathleen attended church for most of her life, most recently Requel in downtown Mansfield, but also McElroy Road Church of Christ for many years. She attended various clubs and activities such as Al-Anon, Christian Women’s Club, a bowling league, the Moose, and the Eagles.

She will be thoroughly missed by many! Kathy loved to shake a leg, travel, play dominos, watch crime TV, go out to eat, and giggle uncontrollably to AFV, Carroll Burnett, and I Love Lucy. She also enjoyed watching movies and eating popcorn, especially with Max. She was full of life and always tried to keep a positive attitude, and make others smile, causing many to admire and love her. She truly was one of a kind and a great mother, person, and friend. Her special kitty Dolly will miss her snuggles.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her son Bradley; husband, Ron; and sister, Janice.

She will be missed!
