Bernice (Allen) Erdmann, age 73 of Willard, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 2, 2024, surrounded by family at her son’s home in Fremont, Ohio.
Bernice was born December 22, 1950, in Hueysville, Kentucky to the late Delmer and Lurla (Ousley) Allen and was a resident of Willard the majority of her life. She had also resided in Bellevue before moving to Plymouth in 2012. Bernice was a 1969 graduate of South Central High School in Greenwich. Proceeding with her education at Ashland University earning a Bachelors in Science and a Bachelors in Arts. She then attended Terra Technical College and earned an Associate’s degree in Computer Programming. Bernice was employed as a computer analyst with R.R. Donnelly & Sons in Willard.
She enjoyed reading, studying and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Bernice is survived by two sons Derek (Joanne) Erdmann of Fremont and Micah Erdmann of Bellevue; seven grandchildren; Drew, Dylan, Kaylin, Xander, Joshua, Gage and Blane; two great grandchildren; Sophia and Luca; three brothers Rick Allen of Shiloh, Ronnie Allen of Bradenton, Florida, and Brian (Marion) Allen of Sierra Vista, Arizona; three sisters Debra (Dave) Stone of Willard, Barbara Allen of Willard, and Charlene Allen of Sierra Vista, Arizona, nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Dustin Todd Erdmann; and infant brother & sister, Danny and Caroline Allen
A graveside service will be held 12:00 PM Friday, May 17, 2024, in Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven, Ohio. Chaplin Kevin Lehr will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heartland Hospice at 907 West State St, A, Fremont, OH 43420.
