Shirley Nadine Clifford passed away on April 27, 2024 at OhioHealth Mansfield, surrounded by her family. She was 91.
She was born on January 21,1933 to parents John & Dorothy Adams in Cambria County, Pennsylvania. As an adult Shirley enjoyed a long career at Crane Plumbing as a switchboard operator.
In her spare time, she took pleasure in reading, going to garage sales, baking, and going out to eat. Shirley had a giant heart for animals, she cared for many pets throughout her life. But above all else, she cherished her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her proudest achievement in life and brought her immeasurable amounts of joy.
Shirley is survived by her daughter Michelle Pate, son Mark Clifford, granddaughters Jeanell (Dan) Dooley, Brittany (Brian) Foulks, Alyssa (Doug) Frederick, and Taylor Pitroff, seven great-grandchildren, bonus son and daughter Oscar and Cathy SanMiguel, brother John Adams, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother David Adams, great-grandson Isaiah Frederick, and her beloved dog Dallas.
A graveside service honoring Shirley will be held on Thursday May 2, 2024 at 10:30 am at Mansfield Memorial Park. Celebrant Dave Roberts will speak.
