It was easy for Brent Bostic to see the good in others. Filled with a kind and loving spirit, Brent often gave without question. His giving spirit now at rest, Brent Allen Bostic, 33, of Mansfield passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 1, 2024.
The son of Jack and Lenee Balliet (Bostic) Brent was born June 7, 1990 in Mansfield. He really was a miracle baby, surviving intensive head surgery. Regardless of his circumstances Brent always had a smile, and that mindset continued throughout his life. Brent graduated from Mansfield Senior High School. Brent was talented in construction, excelling at whatever he put his mind to. Recently he was employed at Vitro (formerly PPG).
From a young age he was drawn to RC cars and enjoyed racing. Brent rode his skate board and his BMX bike… he was great at both. Brent had a natural green thumb. He’d say, “It’s all in the nutrients.” He was a master gardener who grew amazing vegetables.
Brent had the best smile and his laugh was contagious. He was the best uncle to his nieces and nephews and loved his friends. Recently he accepted Christ as his Savior, and was looking forward to worship on Sunday mornings.
He is survived by his mother Lenee Bostic and father Jack (Pamela) Bostic; sisters Tarah and Tosha Bostic and half sister Susan Myers; grandmother Patricia Davis; nieces and nephews Auberia and Kayden Bostic, Alexis Radcliffe, Marleigh, Averly and Maddox Moore, and Kallie Bostic; aunts and uncles Renee Balliet Revetsz, Steve Balliet, Cheryl Hitchman, Sharon Hurley, Lisa Dove, Jason Davis.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Bobby G. Bostic, Gary and Tanya Balliet, and uncle Rick Balliet Brent’s visitation will be held Thursday March 7, 2024 from 4-7 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where his funeral will be Friday at 11 am. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
