SHELBY — Two candidates for the Ohio Supreme Court will speak at the Feb. 15 meeting of the Shelby Area Democratic Club.
Lisa Forbes will attend via Zoom while Judge Terri Jamison plans to attend in person.
The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Sutter-Roush Room, 23 E. Main St. — directly behind the Municipal Utilities Office.
Forbes was elected to the Eighth District Court of Appeals in 2020. She represented clients in state and federal trial courts along with appellate courts throughout Ohio for 27 years.
Jamison has served on the Franklin County Court of Domestic Relations and Juvenile Branch. She now sits on the Tenth District Court of Appeals.
The gathering will be hybrid — both in person and via Zoom.
