MANSFIELD — The Ohio State University at Mansfield is showing Devotion (2022) in honor of the 70th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice Agreement in collaboration with the Korean War Veterans’ Association Chapter #51.
The screening will be hosted at Riedl Hall at Ohio State Mansfield, 1760 University Drive, Mansfield, Ohio 44906. There is close parking, and this is a handicap accessible space with no stairs.
There will be two showings, both on Saturday, July 29: 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. with a veteran’s panel discussion at 1:30 p.m. moderated by Dr. Joseph Fahey. The panel will feature Colonel Darren E. Hamilton, Wing Commander of the 179th Airlift Wing in Mansfield. This event is free and open to the public, with no reservations required.
Devotion, an aerial war epic based on the bestselling book of the same name, tells the harrowing true story of two elite US Navy fighter pilots during the Korean War. Their heroic sacrifices would ultimately make them the Navy’s most celebrated wingmen.
