LEXINGTON — Lexington’s Avery Coleman dominated with 24 points and 12 rebounds to help Lexington knock off Ontario in Tuesday night’s girls basketball game.
Coleman was supported by Lizzie Hamler’s nine points and five rebounds.
Carleigh Pearson’s 13 points paced the Warriors.
Ontario took a 12-11 first-quarter lead before Lexington tied the game at 23-23 heading into halftime. The game remained deadlocked at 34-34 when the fourth period began.
Lady Lex enjoyed a 41-30 rebounding advantage to overcome 25 turnovers.
The Warriors made just 7 of 17 free throws.
