ASHLAND — Leah Miller, of Ashland High School, and April King, of Loudonville High School, were named Students of the Month for October by the Ashland County West Holmes Career Center.
Miller, in the Career Center’s Animal and Veterinary Science program, was named the Junior Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Ronald and Rebekah Miller and resides in Ashland.
King, in the Career Center’s Criminal Justice program, was named the Senior Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Heather King and resides in Perrysville.
Both students and their families were invited to the regular meeting of the Career Center’s Board of Education on Nov. 16, where each was presented with a certificate and pin in recognition of this honor.
