MANSFIELD — There’s a party downtown Thursday night, and everyone is invited.
Mechanic’s Bank is hosting a series of musician performances from 5 to 10 p.m. at their courtyard, 2 N. Main Street.
The free performances will be provided by Chase Beaire, Aurelio Diaz, Brady Jacquin and Ricky Mitchell and Northern Junkyard Orchestra, as part of Richland Source’s Newsroom After Hours.
“We are doing this because we enjoy bringing the community together,” said Shelley Seckle, event coordinator for the bank. “I have watched each of them perform and Chase approached me about playing, and I said, ‘Why not?’
“We are excited to have Richland Source join us. We talked about them and when we learned about their After Hours show at Relax, It’s Just Coffee, we thought about asking them to join us. Northern Junkyard has a great following. We are so excited to host.”
There will be free food, too, Seckel said.
Black Bird Bakery and Two Cousins Pizza will be bringing food. Relax, It’s just coffee will provide beverages.
Mitchell said he was looking forward to performing because of the variety of listed artists.
“Shelley was able to get a great variety of people. We are all acoustic performers, but she did a great job getting a variety in that lane,” he said. “I am very excited to be playing with them. I’ve seen them all individually and they were great.”
