Mansfield Christian and Clear Fork squared off in a girls varsity soccer match. The home match would hand the Flames their second loss and see the Colts win their second straight.
The Colts did all their damage in the first half. They went into intermission by a margin of three 3-0. Junior Deijah Swihart would be the only player on either side to score.
The low scoring game still saw plenty of action in the goal box. Clear Fork keeper Morgan Bailey, a junior, would pile up 10 saves. Senior Ashley Oswalt would add another. For the Flames, Madison Kiliany turned away 7 shots.
MCS moves to 4-2-1 on the season.
Clear Fork improves to 4-2-0.
