MANSFIELD, Ohio – The Mansfield Municipal building at 30 Diamond Street and the Utility Collections Department on 99 Park Avenue East will both be closed today to the public due to a water line break.
Safety Service Director Lori Cope said safety forces are still fully staffed, but other departments open to the public are closed.
“We closed around 9:30 this morning. It was quite a large water main break. We have no water to our building,” noted Cope. The problem is unknown at this time, but Cope said does not expect the water line to be fixed until after 4 p.m.
The buildings are expected to reopen for normal hours on Thursday.
