As Veterans Day approaches, CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL) honors its employees and others who are serving or have served in the various branches of the United States military.

“One of the noblest services any American can offer our nation is to defend our country and protect our freedom by serving in our nation’s military,” said Mike Brill, CenturyLink’s vice president of operations for Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. “CenturyLink actively recruits men and women who have served in our nation’s military due to the skills, discipline and the excellence they bring to serving CenturyLink customers.”

CenturyLink’s Veterans Employee Resource Group is one way to support employees who serve or have served in the military and a way to be involved in the community. Members of this group provide a unique perspective on issues that are important to employees who are current or former members of the United States military. Membership is open to all employees.
