The Arts and Culture Action Team of the Richland Community Development Group wants to remind youth with stamped passports from the Summer Passport Program that they have the two opportunities to receive a free t-shirt. T-shirts will be distributed on Aug. 17th at Central Park in Shelby during the Shelby Cruise In or on Aug. 24th in Mansfield at Element of Art. Element of Art is located at 96 North Main St. in Mansfield. Just bring your stamped Passport to either location to receive a shirt.
The Arts and Culture Action Team of RCDG initiated this new community- wide program to encourage families to be tourists in their own county this summer. The Summer Passport Program provided a ‘passport’ listing all participants in the program some of whom had special offerings. Over 2,800 passports were distributed throughout the county and T shirt supplies are limited.
This activity was funded by the Richland County Foundation Grant to RCDG. RCDG is a non-profit agency working for the betterment of the county through economic and community development efforts. The RCDG website is www.ChooseRichland.com.
