MANSFIELD — The eighth annual Raising Richland Community Garden Summit will be held Thursday, March 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Longview Center, 1495 W. Longview Avenue in Mansfield.

This free event will provide inspiration and information for the home gardener as well as those involved in community or organizational gardens.

Summit speakers will include Dave Duncan, local beekeeper, licensed pest controller, and co-owner of BeeOlogy, on “Beekeeping 101,” Sophia Buggs on “Healthy Soil,” and Susanne Gerhart on “Preservation” with a cooking demonstration.
