BUCYRUS — Bucyrus Police report officers are investigating the Saturday morning death of a Marion man who had symptoms of excessive alcohol consumption.
According to a Bucyrus Police report, officers say the man was a passenger in a vehicle between Marion and Bucyrus. Police were called to the scene at 9:18 a.m. on Saturday.
The individual was deceased upon arrival at Marion General Hospital, the police report stated. No name was available at the time of publication.

11:17 a.m. Officers made a funeral escort for Wise Funeral Home.
12 noon A report of three (3) geese shot at Outhwaite Reservoir was investigated and forwarded to ODNR.
1:57 p.m. A report of loud music in the 500 block of Prospect St was unfounded.
2:36 p.m. Officers made a welfare check in the 900 block of E Warren St.
2:57 p.m. Officers spoke with a resident in the 1300 block of Willard Street about her unruly juvenile.
3:14 p.m. Officers checked the welfare of a subject in a vehicle in the 200 block of S. Lane Street. The subject had been napping.
3:22 p.m. Officers attempted to assist a motorist locked out of her vehicle at Walmart.
3:24 p.m. Officers responded with EMS personnel to Bucyrus Plaza for a male experiencing mental issues. The subject was transported to Bucyrus Hospital for care.
3:29 p.m. A report of possible child abuse was received and was unfounded.
3:48 p.m. Officers spoke to a young juvenile with his family at the Police Department about stealing.
4:10 p.m. A Bucyrus resident called in to report an attempted phone scam advising she won money, but would need to purchase a gaming gift card before receiving the money.
5:23 p.m. A report of two vehicles being reckless, a small red Chevy Cobalt and a small black car, in the area of E. Charles and East Street was investigated.
5:32 p.m. A private property accident was investigated at Tim Horton’s. A silver Jeep struck a pole on the property.
7:29 p.m. A disturbance between neighbors in the 200 block of Penn Avenue was investigated. The matter was settled with an exchange of personal property.
8:35 p.m. A dog running loose in the area of Whetstone and Wheeler Avenue was reunited with its owner.
8:52 p.m. A report of a possible domestic disturbance in the 1100 block of Hopley Avenue turned out to be young children playing in the house.
9:04 p.m. Officers spoke to a subject on station about an unruly juvenile/parenting issue.
9:08 p.m. Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 100 block of W. Mansfield Street with a medical emergency. The subject got into a car as a passenger and left the area.
9:14 p.m. Officers checked a residence in the 1000 block of Maple Street.
9:46 p.m. One income tax summons was served at the Crawford County Justice Center.
10:50 p.m. Officers responded to an alarm in the 400 block of Emerson St. It was a false alarm.
11:35 p.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 200 block of S. Highland Ave.

12:19 a.m. A resident in the 1200 block of Monnett St. reported juveniles coming on her property and knocking on her door.
12:38 a.m. A report of a suspicious male in the 400 block of N. Poplar St. was investigated.
1:54 a.m. A report of a barking dog in the 500 block of E. Charles St. was investigated.
2:48 a.m. A report of suspicious people walking in the 600 block of Earl St. was investigated. One of the subjects had two tax summonses.
3:04 a.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of N. Lane St. was a fatigued driver that was resting.
3:10 a.m. A report of a possible domestic issue in the 1100 block of E. Warren St. was investigated. A subject lost their temper and broke a fan.
3:47 a.m. Officers conducted a welfare check in the Hopley Ave. area.
9:38 a.m. Officers investigated a report of vandalism to two vehicles in the 900 block of Monnett St.
12:34 p.m. Officers spoke to the parents of a small child in the 300 block of W. Rensselaer St. that was dialing 911.
12:50 p.m. A parking complaint in the 100 block of N. Poplar St. was investigated.
4:24 p.m. A report of underage drinking was investigated in the 1200 block of Monnett Street.
4:25 p.m. Officers attempted to serve a warrant in the 700 block of Sherman Street.
4:49 p.m. Stephanie Loveless, 33, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. She was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held.
4:51 p.m. A false alarm was investigated in the 1100 block of W. Southern Avenue.
5:02 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the area of E. Mansfield and Iron Street.
6:27 p.m. A report of possible gunshots was investigated in the area of Nevada Road. Nothing was located and no one advised of any issues.

9:28 p.m. A report of kids fighting in the 200 block of E. Mansfield Street was investigated. Subjects were gone from the area.

10 p.m. A report of a possible intoxicated driver in the 100 block of W. Mansfield Street was investigated. The vehicle was parked and empty when officers arrived in the area.

Sunday, Feb. 18
12:22 a.m. Kimberly Martin was arrested in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Av. on charges of OVI. Officers were called to the area for a report of a vehicle that was stuck on the railroad tracks. Martin was issued a traffic citation and released pending a court date.
12:46 a.m. A one vehicle accident was reported in the area of Sandusky and Dudley St. A vehicle slid into a pole.
1:29 a.m. Officers attempted to serve an income tax summons on Dean St.
1:42 a.m. A traffic complaint was investigated in the 400 block of Sears St.
2:35 a.m. A phone was reported stolen earlier in the evening. The phone was located and returned to the owner and two involved parties also had income tax summonses that were served.
2:46 a.m. A motorist was given a warning for one-way street violation on Broadway Alley.
3:15 a.m. A resident was spoken to in the 300 block of Iron St. for loud music.
4:21 a.m. A resident was spoken to about loud music in the 1000 block of Hopley Ave.
5:37 a.m. Officers assisted Bucyrus Fire with a car fire in the 1800 block of Marion Rd. The vehicles on the lot were destroyed by fire and Bucyrus Fire is investigating the cause.
7:14 a.m. A false alarm was received in the 500 block of Forrest Hills Court.
8:43 a.m. A false alarm was received in the 200 block of E. Galen St.
8:59 a.m. Officers checked the welfare of a woman in the 200 block of Dudley St.
9:12 a.m. Officers spoke to a woman that fell in the 200 block of E. Mary St.
9:41 a.m. Officers spoke to a man regarding an assault that happened several days ago in the 900 block of Elm St.
11:42 a.m. Officers spoke to a resident in the 400 block of Union St. regarding stolen property.
11:51 a.m. A resident reported copper stolen from rental property in the 200 block of E. Irving St.
12:20 p.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout in the 400 block of W. Rensselaer St.
12:56 p.m. Officers investigated a report of a motorcycle striking a parked car in the 200 block of E. Charles St. No injuries were reported. A citation was issued to the driver.
1:49 p.m. Two Bucyrus boys, ages 14 and 15 were spoken to by Police after employees from the 98 Drive Thru reported a shoplifting. The boys were released to family members pending possible charges.
2:06 p.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout in the 1700 block of Whetstone St.
4:08 p.m. A report of a suspicious person was made in the area of N. Spring and Mansfield St. and was unfounded as the subject lives on the property.
4:26 p.m. A theft report was taken in the 1600 block of E. Southern Av. A phone was reportedly taken from a bag.
5:41 p.m. A stolen bicycle report was investigated in the 500 block of N. Lane St. The bike was recovered.
5:49 p.m. A two-vehicle minor accident involving a motorcycle and Chevy Prism was investigated on Washington Square. One of the parties involved, Alicia Beltz, 25, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant for a tax case. She was given a court date to appear and released.
6:05 p.m. A juvenile complaint was investigated in the area of Aumiller Park.
6:14 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the area of Lane and Rensselaer.
6:22 p.m. A fight call was reported in the 200 block of S. Lane St. The involved persons dispersed.
6:58 p.m. A report of a juvenile being assaulted was taken in the 500 block of N. Lane St. Neither party wanted to pursue charges.
7:01 p.m. Officers investigated a possible noise disturbance in the 300 block of Euclid Av. and it was unfounded after a security check of the property.
7:29 p.m. A disturbance was reported at the Police Department by a citizen advising they were having a dispute with an acquaintance.
8:43 p.m. A report of a possible drunk driver was reported on W. Southern Av. and no violation was observed.
9:27 p.m. A disturbance was in the area of Walnut and Mansfield St. was a gold or silver Chevy Cobalt with occupants reportedly littering from the vehicle.
Monday, Feb. 19
12:34 a.m. Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 700 block of E. Irving Street.
1:08 a.m. Officers checked on a train stopped on the tracks in the area of Lane and Norton Way. It was just waiting on a signal change and was on its way again.
3:52 a.m. Officers responded to the Bucyrus Community Hospital for a disorderly patient.
4:56 a.m. A false alarm in the 2000 block of Whetstone Street was investigated.
