MANSFIELD — The long-awaited Lexington-Springmill roundabout project is nearing its completion, according to Richland County Engineer Adam Gove.
Although construction is approximately two weeks behind the originally scheduled target deadlines, the engineer’s office is comfortable enough with the progress to announce tentative opening dates.
The Richland B&O Trail is scheduled to reopen on Friday, Oct 23.
The Lexington-Springmill Road/Home Road intersection is scheduled to reopen on Friday, Oct. 30.
Gove cautioned that these are approximate dates and are weather dependent. A separate notice will be released when the Bike Trail and roadway are officially open.
