MANSFIELD — The Richland County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board has selected Aubrie Hall as its new executive director.

Hall, appointed in September, will officially take over leadership responsibilities on Nov. 2. She succeeds former director Sherry Branham-Fonner, who is retiring.

Under the direction and supervision of the board, Hall will oversee countywide strategic planning and public initiatives for mental health and recovery services.

A Richland County native with 15 years of public service experience, Hall earned a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University in 2010 and completed a master’s degree in healthcare administration in 2021.

Hall most recently served as executive director of NAMI Richland County, where she expanded the organization’s operating budget, staffing, and community programs threefold over a two-and-a-half-year span.

Her prior roles include serving as director of victim services for the Richland County Prosecutor’s Office and managing large-scale healthcare initiatives, physician coaching, and process improvements at OhioHealth Mansfield and Shelby hospitals.

She has also served on several local coalitions, advisory boards, and advocacy projects.

“I am honored to step into this role and serve the community I have called home my entire life,” Hall said.

“I look forward to building upon our strong foundation and collaborating with our community partners to ensure accessible, high-quality mental health and recovery services across Richland County.”

The board functions as Richland County’s local statutory authority for planning, funding, and monitoring public mental health and substance abuse treatment programs.

It contracts with local provider agencies, including NAMI Richland County, Catalyst Life Services, Community Action for Capable Youth, Coleman Health Services, Family Life Counseling and Psychiatric Services and Mansfield UMADAOP.

The Richland County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board is located at 87 E. First St., Suite L.
