The Mansfield Christian Lady Flames hosted the Lady Redbirds of Loudonville in a girls varsity basketball matchup on Saturday afternoon. Loudonville ended a three game win streak for the Flames and picked up an Mid Buckeye Conference win, 46-29.

Loudonville leaped out to a 14-6 lead in the first quarter and stayed in command for the rest of the game.

In team stats, Loudonville picked up 16 steals to 2 by Addie Daughtery for MCS’s team total. Loudonville committed 12 turnovers. MCS lost possession 22 times. The Lady Flames won the battle of the boards 24-22.

The Lady Redbirds got a big game out of Andie Heffelfinger. She posted 22 points and 8 rebounds. Kayla Jamieson followed with 8. Tanna Stricklen sank the games only threes for 6 points on the night.

Allie Maiyer and Katie Ritz both posted a team high of 8 points for the Lady Flames. Daughtery also led the team in rebounds with 8.
