Zachary “Zach” Ryan Robinson, 42, of Mansfield, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026. Born in Mansfield, he was the son of Timothy Robinson and Terri Armstrong. Zach was a truly special person whose intelligence, kindness, humor, and generous heart touched the lives of so many people. A graduate of Madison Comprehensive High School in 2002, Zach was known for being very smart, hardworking, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Zach had many interests and hobbies that brought him happiness. He loved playing his guitar and listening to music, especially enjoying the excitement of going to concerts. He loved golfing, drawing, playing video games, and spending time with his radio-controlled cars. He was also a fan of scary movies and could always appreciate a good cup of coffee and a good beer. He was very proud of his chili and enjoyed sharing it with others. Zach was a big football fan. He had what could best be described as a love-hate relationship with the Cleveland Browns, but he was especially proud to be an Ohio State football fan. One of his favorite things was traveling to the mountains to ride his side-by-side. He enjoyed making those trips with his wife and family, his cousins Jeremy and Amanda, as well as his Uncle Danny and Julie. Those trips and the time spent together created many good memories.

Those who knew Zach will remember him for his playful personality and his love for a good prank. He had a way of making people laugh and creating memories that will be treasured for years to come. But beneath his mischievous side was a deeply caring person who would help anyone in need. Zach was the kind of person who was always there for everyone, no matter what. Above all else, his greatest joy, proudest achievement was his daughter, Zoey. She was his whole heart and there was nothing he treasured more than her. The bond between them was endless and she will be his greatest legacy. The love he had for them was evident in the joy he found in simply being together.

Zach is survived by his wife, Janet (Stitzlein) Robinson; daughter, Zoey Robinson; his parents, Tim Robinson and Terri Armstrong; sister, Kaylie (Brandon) Yarger; brother, Micah Robinson (Felicity Aliers); stepbrother, Garrett (Morgan) Dotson; grandmother, Nancy Robinson; Father and Mother-in-law, Terry and Terri Stitzlein; two brothers-in law, Todd Stitzlein (Cathy Keffalas) and Howie Stitzlein; sister-in-law, Michelle (Mikey) Nye; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many dear friends.

He was preceded by his grandparents, Denvel and Shirley Armstrong and Robert “Poppy” Robinson and his beloved dog, Jaxx

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM in Mansfield Cemetery.

Zach’s memory will live on in every song, every guitar strum, every ride, every round of golf, every prank that brings a smile, and every moment shared with the people he loved. A celebration of Life for Zach will be held at a later date.
