Mervilla “Ann” Bosko, 94, of Mansfield, peacefully passed away on August 18, 2026. She was born on February 6, 1932, to the late Robert T. and Dorothy (Snook) Dyson.
Ann graduated from Madison High School. She married Alexander Bosko in December of 1950, and they were married for 69 years. Besides being a wonderful homemaker, she also worked at Richland Bank, Park Ave. Office for 13 years as a teller. She was called “Meme” by the grandchildren and was an excellent cook and baker especially at the holidays where she was known for her cut-out cookies. She would have the grandkids help decorate with an assembly line of goodies to make each cookie unique!
Ann was a woman of strong Christian faith and was a longtime member of the Berean Baptist Church. The family is so thankful for the many dear church friends that were a blessing to her over the years.
Ann is survived by her children, Mark (Cindy) Bosko and Kathy Reed; grandchildren, Josh Reed, Alex (Lindsay) Reed, Greg (Kelsey) Bosko, Andrew (Sarah) Bosko, Ryan (Courtney) Yeager; 7 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Jack E. and Janet Dyson; son-in-law, Jim Reed; several nieces and nephews; and many good friends.
In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Bosko; a brother and sister-in-law, H. Terry and Delores Dyson; a sister, Dorothy Louise Hupp; a close aunt and uncle, Helen (Snook) and Robert Crawford; and a nephew, Tim Dyson.
The family would like to thank the exceptional staff at Wedgewood Estates for the excellent care Ann has received for the past several years and all the wonderful friendships that were made. We also thank Reserve Care Hospice for making her journey home peaceful.
Ann will be laid to rest in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Lucas, Ohio with a private graveside service for the immediate family.
