Ramona G. Grossman was born on Oct. 29, 1936 to Hubert and Lucy (Kirkpatrick) Pritchard in Butler, Ohio. She attended Butler School and graduated in 1954.
She worked until marrying her husband, Paul “Mark” Grossman on Feb. 24, 1960. After starting their family, she was able to stay home and raise the children until they finished school.
Ramona was a member of Ridgeway First Church of God. She was very active in the Women’s Group; she was also choir director for many years. She helped with the children in Sunday School class and worked with the church’s food pantry from 2004 to 2020.
She is survived by her children Bradley (Dee) Grossman, Pam Ash, and Sheila (Roger) Sims, grandchildren David (Stephanie) Grossman, Kierstin (Bobby Coffin) Grossman, Steven (Ashley Edmonds) Shank, Shaina (James) Reed, McKala (Trevor) Moreland, and Cody (Maddie) Ash, great-grandchildren Taylor (Trent) Comer, Lucy Lynne Moreland, Trevor Allen Moreland Jr., Emily Lynn Ash, Paighten Grace Coffin, Vincent Lee Moreland, Cody Michael Ash Jr., Layla Jane Moreland, Baker Vincent James Ash, Kamden Gage Reed, and Jaxon Wade Coffin, step great-grandchildren Breanna Nicole Moreland, Ethan Alexander Edmonds, and Carter Elliot Edmonds, one great-great-grandson Braeson Alexander Muralt, and very close friends Bill and Cinda Remaley and Pam Tanner, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A very close and loving family, she was very proud of her children and grandchildren, with love in her heart for all of them.
In addition to her parents, Ramona is preceded in death by her husband Paul “Mark” Grossman, daughter Brenda Lee Grossman, brother and sister-in-law Nelson (Wilma) Pritchard, sister and brother-in-law Wilma (Gerald) Bowman, great-granddaughter Kensley Ann Reed, son-in-law Vince Ash, great-grandson Gage Edward Reed.
A celebration of life service will be held at noon on Sept. 5, 2026 at Ridgeway First Church of God, 1380 Park Avenue East, friends are welcome to call the hour prior.
