MANSFIELD — Discovery School is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Clark as interim Head of School for the 2026–2027 school year.
Clark brings more than two decades of experience leading independent schools. He has served as Head of School at four Montessori schools, most recently at Lexington Montessori School in Lexington, Massachusetts. He began his new role at Discovery School on July 13.
“We are excited to welcome Kevin to Discovery School,” said Jay Goyal, chair of the Discovery School Board of Trustees. “Kevin brings extensive experience leading child centered independent schools, along with a thoughtful and collaborative approach to leadership.
“His background aligns well with Discovery’s emphasis on hands-on learning, curiosity, creativity, and the development of the whole child. We believe he will provide strong leadership while helping the school build upon its many strengths.”
Clark said he is looking forward to becoming part of the Discovery community.
“I am honored by the opportunity to join Discovery School,” Clark said. “I look forward to listening, learning, and getting to know the students, families, faculty, and staff who make this community so special. I am excited to help build on Discovery’s strong foundation and support a successful year ahead.”
Discovery School is currently accepting enrollment inquiries for the 2026–2027 school year. Families interested in learning more are invited to attend the open house from 3 to 5 p.m. at the 855 Millsoboro Road facility in Mansfield.
Families may stop by at any time during the open house to tour the school and its campus, meet Clark and members of the Discovery School team, and learn more about Discovery’s academic program, student experience, enrollment process, tuition assistance, and EdChoice Scholarship opportunities.

As Interim Head of School, Clark will work closely with Discovery’s faculty, staff, families, and Board of Trustees to support students, strengthen school operations, and advance the school’s educational mission.
