Steven G. Laser, age 64, of Shelby, Ohio passed away on June 28, 2026 at his home following a 15 month battle against glioblastoma brain cancer. On August 2, 1961 he was born in Shelby, Ohio the son of the late William D. and Sandra A. Laser. On June 20, 1987 he married Michelle L. (Royer) Laser at the First United Church of Christ in Shelby and they shared 39 years together.
Steven was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Shelby, Johnny Appleseed Wood Carver’s Club and the Shelby Model Railroad Club. He enjoyed wood carving, pyrography, stained glass and glass fusion. His proudest achievement was building our log cabin on the family land.
He is survived by sons, Grant C. Laser, Nash W. (Courtney) Laser and Garrett L. Laser; brother, Todd A. (Cathy) Laser; wife Michelle L. Laser and numerous extended family members.
