Patsy Moran, age 68, of Mount Vernon, Ohio passed away on June 1, 2026 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Ashland surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 19, 1958 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Francis Junior and Ruth Olive (Garrison) Jones.
Patsy enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and was a master of video games. Her proudest achievements were her grandchildren. She loved to laugh a lot and always had to have the last word. Patsy accepted the Lord before her passing with the help of Psalm 23.
She is survived by two brothers, Hugh Jones of Mount Vernon and Ralph Jones of Mansfield; sister, Peggy (Glenn) Boggs of Bellville; sister-in-law, Ginger Jones of Mount Vernon; her children, Jay (Cierrah) Moran of Mount Vernon, Paul (Deanna) Fausnight of Mount Vernon, Jennifer (Steve) Klein of Gambier, Mindy Fausnight (Ned Fletcher) of Danville, Thomas Joyner, Timmy (Shaela) Joyner and Ray Toller of Mount Vernon; her grandchildren, Jakub Moran, Haley Angle and Nevaeh Joyner all of Mount Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Frank, Dwight and Francis Jones; daughter, Melissa; son, Mark Fausnight and husband, Jay E. Moran.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home for the loving care they provided.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 6. 2026 from 1:00PM-2:00PM at the Covenant Church, 13360 New Delaware Rd, Mount Vernon, Ohio.
