Le’Ondra Mae Messner, 18, of Mansfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. She was born on January 30, 2008, in Ashland, to Joseph Valdry II and Vanessa Messner.
Le’Ondra was full of life and brought joy everywhere she went. She loved cooking, especially making macaroni and cheese and tea cakes. She enjoyed doing hair and nails and proudly graduated from Cypress School for nails, pursuing her passion as a nail technician. She loved music, animals, and especially her beloved dog, RJ.
Le’Ondra was known as a motivated go-getter who loved helping people. She never met a stranger, and everyone quickly became her friend. Her smile, energy, and caring heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She shared a special bond with her cousin Mason, and the two were often described as “two peas in a pod.” She proudly acted as his bodyguard and best friend.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her father, Joseph Valdry II; stepmother, Sylvia Alvarez; stepbrother, Tyrek Gordon; grandmother, Gloria Davis; aunt, Shaharazart Davis; uncle, Terrance (Jessica) Davis; cousins, Mason Davis and September Davis; along with several other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends. Also surviving are her mother, Vanessa Messner; sister, L’Araiyah Messner; uncle, Justin Messner and aunt, Kayleigh Lewis.
Le’Ondra was preceded in death by her stepsister, Tyshia Gordon.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at All Believers in Christ Church, 1650 S. Main Street.
Le’Ondra’s love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
